Our cultural services are dedicated to respectfully promoting the rich cultural heritage of our First Nations People’s, being the longest living civilisation, wrapped in mystery, connections, practises and protocols that stem from Dreamtime and Lore. Driven by the needs of our First Nations children within the child safety system to have strengthened self identify and connection to their cultural needs, Culture, Country, Kin and Community. Mullah Mara has with it Elders created a roadmap on the paths taken to achieve the foundations to the placement principle. With a holistic service range, Mullah Mara does this in a number of cultural safe ways.Remote and local Identified Assessments, Cultural Consultancy, Elder consultancy service, Professional training packages, non indigenous carer training and workshops, First Nations children programs and workshops and support, Kinship Placement intensive support for Carers. connecting children to Culture, Country, Community and Kin. Mallah Mara has also introduced a number of new and exciting Counselling, Therapies and Traditional Healing Services….we welcome everyone to join us in celebrating our diverse community.

On 13 February 2008, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd delivered the National Apology to Australia's Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islander peoples for the injustices of past government policies, particularly to the Stolen Generations.
National Close the Gap Day is an annual event that raises awareness and seeks to close the gap with respect to life expectancy, child mortality, educational and employment outcomes between Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and non-Indigenous Australians.
